Agia Didyma Beach, Vroulidia Beach and Mavra Volia are the best beaches in South Chios. There are many other beaches in South Chios but this two beaches are the most beautiful ones. Vroulidia beach is involved many steps but worth to visit, crystal clear deep Aegean see is waiting for you. Take some umbrella with you other wise there is no shelter down there and can be very very hot between 1 amd 4 pm afternoon.

Chios (Greek: Χίος, pronounced [ˈçios]; alternative transliterations Khíos and Híos) is the fifth largest of the Greek islands, situated in the Aegean Sea, 7 kilometres (4.3 mile) off Cesme the Anatolia coast. The island is separated from Turkey by the Chios Strait. The island has a port for merchant shipping. The island produces a unique mastic gum. Tourist attractions include its medieval villages, and the 11th-century monastery of “Nea Moni”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located on the island.
Administratively the island forms a separate municipality within the Chios regional unit, which is part of the North Aegean region. The principal town of the island and seat of the municipality is Chios (town). Locals refer to Chios town as “Chora” (“Χώρα” literally means land or country, but usually refers to the capital or a settlement at the highest point of a Greek island).

Ulusoy Çeşme Port is very well run place with many good facilities, like Setur Duty free shop and cafe shop selling nice Turkish pastries and simit and nice cup of tea. Check in and out is straight forward and very easy.
