Bağ Evi is only 7,5 km from Urla Town Center and built in the village of Yağcılar Köyü with magnificent views of the local Vine Yards, pine covered hills and in the distance the Aegean sea.
The owners have built this place with pride and passion and the results are stunning, six stylish rooms made with traditional stone and yet with modern slick interiors. the rooms are compact as the building reflects the footprint of the original village house but now overlooks a calm and tranquil courtyard with it’s pebble based stream and water sounds tinkle in the breeze from the small perfectly sized fountains.
You can sit in the sun or shade on the simple but fantastically positioned terrace and feel the stress roll away as you take in the stunning scenery around. The village is true to its origins with cows and chickens as nearby neighbours and the village people sauntering about their daily business. This village life is important to the owners of Bağ Evi and they are insistant that the place does not become commercialised, they want people to enjoy this village experience and are resistant to the normal advertising of such a stunning property , preferring that people who will enjoy this experience will find it by word of mouth.
It is already growing in reputation as people are drawn there to experience real Turkish cuisine , cooked by a local lady who is chef and a shepherdess from Yağcılar Köyü. The restaurant like the rest of the property is exceptional with light wood tables and huge floor to ceiling windows which allow the light to flood in and for the views around to be visible as people enjoy the traditional fayre offered.
