Bulgur pilaff is very easy to make and also very nutritious and healthier then white rice because of not contain sugar in its texture. In many part of Anatolia they also add cooked shredded chicken and chickpea in bulgur pilavi

Serves 4

1 cup bulgur rice
1/2 cup chicken broad
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
1 small pepper
1 tbsp dry mint
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 cup hot water
1 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste

Cut the onions , peppers and tomato small pieces and add in the cooking pan and cook with olive oil until onions are soft then add bulgur rice and cook 3 more minutes then add the hot water and chicken broad and cook until rice soaks all the liquid. Serve hot and with green salad. Afiyet olsun. Respect the food.
